I learned welding growing up on a farm in central Kansas and my childhood passion of designing and creating metal objects never left me. In 1993 I left the hum-drum workforce to get back to what I really enjoy - working with my hands. I started my metal art business- Celestial Ironworks- and participated in art shows throughout the U.S. for 15 years. I moved to Panama in 2010 to set up my business and start a new life in a new culture. Now I spend my days -- and many nights -- in my studio designing, cutting, grinding, welding and pounding my creations into reality.
